UFOs: The Vedic Perspective

The Vedas glorify our planet earth, as the most important planet in the cosmic system. She is celebrated for her infinite variegatedness in every aspect of her existence. She is the bearer and indispensable ground for sacrifices; the shelter for divine and human activities; the universal mother, feeding all with many beneficial things, and the one to whom every living being owes his existence. Man, in seeking to satisfy his needs and fulfill his goals, exerts his influence upon subtle elementary forces and gross fundamental powers. All material variations that exist on this planet are transformations of this earth. According to Vedas, a fractional portion of the total cosmic energy is the individual lording identification (the tendency to want to control and exploit material nature). A portion of that ego is the vibration of sound, and a portion of that sound is atmospheric air. A portion of the airy atmosphere is turned into forms, and the forms constitute the power of electricity, or heat. Heat produces, smell, or aroma, which evolves into this gross earth. All these combine together and, governed by the law of intercooperation, constitutes the cosmic phenomenon.

Thus, the whole process of creation is an act of gradual evolution and development of one element to another. This results in the variegatedness of the earth: so many trees, plants, mountains, rivers, reptiles, birds, animals and varieties of human beings. The human form has the best design for interacting with matter, namely a perfect basis for sense perception. The quality of sense perception is also evolutionary, being generated from sound to touch to form to taste and smell. The different varieties of human bodies have similarly more progressive sense perceptions and powers of movement.

There are varieties of human life on this same earth, not accessible to us, sometimes on the same dimension, but mostly on higher dimensions. There are also human living beings on other planets, some in our dimension, many in higher.

Other planets in the higher planetary systems have not only different kinds of human beings, but also animals and plants. Some of these planets have lands made of precious jewels like emeralds. Geologists, botanists and so-called scientists speculate so much about life on this earth itself, but, unable to estimate the varieties of life both here and on the other planets, they falsely imagine that all other planets are vacant, uninhabited and full of dust. The Vedas make fun of such materialistic leaders who are praised by paid men who have the mentality of hogs, dogs, camels and asses. Such people, who simply accept knowledge imparted by big animals, will totally reject the UFO/ET phenomenon as null and void.

This subject about different kinds of living beings and their area of activity, etc, will be further discussed in our Workshop.

The Vedas say, “manujah nivasah”, humanity is the residence of the Supreme. But in this material existence there is always the idea of lording it over the resources of material nature, which creates a clash between different living beings. There is, however, the universal law that brings about order out of chaos and creates harmony.

In the vedic vision, man is an active part of the cosmic whole. Dynamic as he is, he does become a disturbing factor, but once guided towards perfection, he can play a vital role in the ultimate establishment of the supreme law in the manifested world.

The panorama of the world shows a conflict and a tension between polar opposite qualities, for which humans have always been the via medium. But there is also a movement in togetherness and a cooperation. There is a striving towards the light, towards unfolding the potential towards fuller life which is constitutional.

The divine law of the cosmos becomes, at the human level, particularized into specific regulations. Thus are developed those norms of social order which are meant to bring the best results for all concerned. Therefore is born civilization. The Vedas envision duty or “Dharma”, and function, or “Karma”. The cosmic order that brings about harmony is expressed in the aspect of qualities of duty such as mercy, austerity, truthfulness and cleanliness. There are reflected in the aspect of function as abstinence from meat-eating, intoxication, gambling and illicit sex.

By losing sight of that integration of human at peace with himself and the universe, gathering all faculties and powers in one central point from which to act in full, perfected consciousness, the self-centered humanity has only applied for dangerous disasters for our planet.

The activities of the physical world have their effect in their counterparts in the non-physical and especially subtle areas like the astral, ethereal, mental and vice versa.

Whimsical exploitation of the plant and animal kingdoms, and natural resources, over-indulgence in sense-gratification in all kinds of perverted ways — all these have led the humam today to the criminal stand: the whole cosmic order is getting disturbed by our foolish endeavors to be the lords of all we survey. As a result of our crimes, Nature imposes upon us incurable diseases and frequent wars among nations.

That’s why our neighbors have started interfering with our lives. It is so that they can give us the message “Get back on track, man! Save the earth—Now!”

Some of these aliens have also taken it on themselves to establish proper law and order on our area of the planet. It is the history in the Vedas, that people of lower order cheaply endeavor to copy the higher, in spite of opposition and imperfections. This is part of the law governing their Psyche. They have gone do far that, in case we destroy the population on earth, they are making plans to repopulate the earth with good human beings. However, they themselves are a little bit overlording in this respect, because they are trying to accomplish this by harvesting samples of human sperm cells, ova and other vial fluids. This will further be discussed in our Workshop.

The subject of UFO, in many aspects, as far as the experience of many respectable common people, yogis and ascetics of India is concerned, is IFO. Identified, not unidentified. Even today, there are hundreds of ongoing visitations, channelled healings, various kinds of what the modern scientist will term “paranormal phenomena”.

There is a great deal of information in the ancient Vedic texts on paranormal phenomena. Then 19th Century scholars, especially from colonial backgrounds, have always tried to explain every vedic conception as based on an observable natural phenomenon, or on a particular sensory object. Whatever did not conform to their understanding was rejected as “mythology”, or “folklore”.

Another widespread tendency is to read into the Vedas esoteric implications based upon later usage of definite terms; yet another tendency is to interpret the descriptions symbolically and try to discern some indirect significance by means of sheer speculation and philosophical gymnastics. If one could scientifically take information from the vedic literature, a lot of questions confronting us in the research of UFO/ET phenomenon can be answered.

An attempt in this direction is successfully accomplished by my friend Dr. Richard Thompson in his book “Alien Identities”, copies of which will be available at our booth and Workshop.

Representing an age-old tradition of the east, on behalf of the great seers and saints of the Vedic culture, we hereby appeal to the leading nation of the perceivable world on this planet, viz, the USA, to cast aside all doubts, sentimentality and suppression of truth and to begin now to scientifically research and study this undismissible UFO/ET phenomenon and make progress in the field of higher dimensional science. Caste Away


 The Purusha Suktam, to quote wikipedia, “gives a description of the spiritual unity of the universe. It presents the nature of Purusha or the cosmic being as both immanent in the manifested world and yet transcendent to it.[2] From this being, the sukta holds, the original creative will (later identified with Brahma, Hiranyagarbha or Prajapati) proceeds which causes the projection the universe in space and time.[3] The Purusha sukta, in the seventh verse, hints at the organic connectedness of the various classes of in the society.”

This is a verse from the Purusha Suktam.
Brahmanoasya mukhamasida bahu rajanyakritah. Uru tadasya yadvaishya padabhyam kshudro ajayat. (Rigveda 10.90.12, Yajurveda.31.11)

Despite other rich spiritually meaningful verses the sukta offers, this particular verse stands out. It seems to have deeply affected the development of Hindu beliefs and traditions as we know today.  The Hindu caste system or the Varnas, have an inseparable association with this verse. The inception of the varna {class} system can be traced back to this innocuous verse from the Vedas. 
Literally translated, the verse means, Brahmanas are the mouth of the Purushaha, Kshatriyas his arms, Vaishyas his thighs and Kshudras his feet. 
Gross misinterpretation of the Sanskrit verse, could be a probable cause of all contemporary communal feuds.  The Purusha suktam describes and glorifies the “Cosmic Being”. It quantifies and qualifies the physical, metaphysical and spiritual properties of the Purusha. Like in poetry, the opulence of the Purusha are metaphorically and exotically presented.
Since the sentiment is to describe the qualities of the Purusha, let us revisit the verse, with this sentiment. 
Brahmano-asya mukham-aasid
The mouth, more appropriately the quality of speech of the Purushaha is that of all the brahmanas combined. Thus the cosmic being possesses the collective knowledge of all creation.
Bahu rajanyakritah
The arms represent the collective strength of all the warriors. It should be noted that warriors were also called “Bahu balis” the one with strong arms. Thus the Purusha is poetically said to have immeasurable proportions of strength in his arms.
Uru tadasyad-vaishya
 Vaishyas represent, tradesmen, merchants, craftsmen and skilled workers who form the central support system of an economy. Comparable, to the femur (thigh bone), which  is closest to the centre of the body in all vertebrates. It is also the strongest and the largest bone in the body. The Purusha’s thighs are comparable to the combined reliability of support that all the Vaishyas have to offer. 
Alternatively it can also signify the sedentary working style of the Vaishyas and might be an allegorical reference to the ones who are seated all the time.  
Padavyaam kshudro ajayat
Those who perform hard labor, masons, laborers et al, are the foundation of development of a system. The Purusha’s body is such a system, of which the feet are the foundation. Again an allegorical attempt.  
The stratification of the zones of the Purusha’s body are allegorical representation of delegation of responsibilities within a system. It does not dictate or suggest any economic discrimination or social discrimination. Any individual is free to choose any of the four responsibilities, with the implicit urge to fulfill the responsibilities reliably. 

The path to salvation is open to all the four sects of responsibility.  


Bhakti, Gnyaan, Karma et al

Bhakti yoga, Gnyaan yoga or Karma yoga, it really does not matter. Our breath is in fact a perpetual chant. A chant that is on even before our birth and continues even after we die. Each sentient being is chanting the ajapa japa, literally meaning – the unchanted chant, at all times, periodically, rhythmically and diligently. Thus we are automatic proponents of bhakti yoga.
Since all doing or non-doing constitutes karma, merely by breathing we are automatic proponents of karma yoga.
When we summon our limited attention and knowingly mingle it with the breath, we are automatic proponents of gnyaan yoga.
The said nature of our true self is unlimited, stead fast attention. Observant, silent, formless, pure energy.
The said expression of the self is a limited attention encapsulated in a corporeal form.
Param atma – {Universal set, mathematically} all knowledge, eternal infinite ocean of knowledge
Atma – {A set}, contained knowledge, atoll lagoon of the ocean
As instruments of scriptures (theory) and theosophy, the three margas {paths, ways} can be understood thus:
Bhakti {like fusion reaction},
Advocates complete submission of the limited attention = {ego, intellect, mind and memory} to infinite attention. The objective is to bring the four faculties of the conscious self together, like bringing together four quadrants of a hollow cylinder {fontanelle to coccyx}
It is comparable to nuclear fusion, it takes considerable amount of effort to combine the four faculties, however when done, results are tremendous.
The moment they connect, the body then becomes a conduit for pure energy flow. When there is infinite attention, it can access all knowledge. Thus proponents of bhakti can savor gnyan as a definite side-effect.
Gnyaan {like fission reaction},
Uses a variant of the divide and rule modus operandi. It pits three faculties together{intellect, mind and memory}, to collectively quell the {ego}. Starving the ego, of gratification of the other three, eventually arm-twisting it to join forces with them. With systematic questioning, we drill down to the singular root cause of all thought, belief  and conditioning of the mind.  The ego is simultaneously the most formidable adversary and ally.
Once quelled and humbled, the ego is pure dark energy that instantly dissolves the {intellect, mind and memory}, liberating them from causality, by merging into a singularity {the cause of all causes, the root cause}.  Again we see the unification of the four faculties into a single channel of pure energy. As the proponents of gnyaan, unravel each thought, ego begins to disintegrate, love for the process and a resulting devoted state develops. Thus gnyaan reinforces bhakti, and proponents of gnyaan can enjoy bhakti as a side effect.
Karmaa {Action, Reaction}, Pure Karma : Sat Karma {Radioactive Decay}
Happens spontaneously. There is always something being done. Whether we act or don’t act, we are still doing {different from akarma or inertia}. Unless there is a cessation or inertial dissolution of all faculties physical and internal, there is always action, ergo there is always karma.
Karma yoga path, relies heavily on the art of misdirection. The energy of the {ego} is kept busy in performing rational {mind, intellect and memory aided} action. Thus employing all four faculties collectively, again forming a channel for the flow of pure energy. The {ego} here is devoted ~ bhakti. The {mind, intellect and memory} are involved in gnyaan.
So we observe that none of the paths undermine the other. All are equidistant from the desired destination. Since the distance {d} is constant, it is the velocity {v} that will determine, how soon the destination arrives.

Life exists in the words that you speak.
Q:     Do you know what came first? The sun (सूर्य)  came or the word सूर्य: ?
A:     The word came first before the actual, celestial body, sun.
जग in sanskrit means सृष्टि or creation, is made of 2 words ज= जनन = birth and ग = गमन = exit, this world is rest house take birth, spend some time and go.
Shiva is  Shava + e = shiva. Shava literally means a dead body and ‘e‘ means energy. Together they form us, this world.
When we utter words from a stanza, in rhythm then that is called MANTRA. Chanting mantras with technique and props is called TANTRA.
After chanting mantras daily after a said time time, develops constructive resonance.  Along with natural frequencies of the pancha mahabhuta (space, fire, air, water and earth)buddhi, mana, and ahankara (8 vidha prakriti),  the invisible cosmic energy in space creates shapes for a short while.
Our mind interprets it as Ganesh, Krishna, Jesus or other gods. So finally, WORDs create the UNIVERSE. Chanting mantra gives birth to objects labelled as dev, danav, manav, yaksha, kinner, gandharva and this is abstract classes are inherited from panchamahabhutas, mind, buddhi, ego et al.
As for the privilege to be born in India, one who is a true scholar (seeker) is born in India, for h(is er) last 2nd last or 3rd last birth.
Invisible cosmic energy is the purest form of energy driving this whole world. It becomes visible in purest form of water and when this water becomes slightly impure by accumulating or mixing with negative thoughts, it forms living bodies of animals. The creation of ‘man‘ is a result of this accumulation. We are impurities of nature and we feel the physical weight.
Ultimately meditation is a journey to transfer our heavy body to invisible weightless cosmic energy (E = mc2) energy and mass are interchangeable. Thus the ultimate aim of our life is to transform ourselves, this heavy body (jad jiva) to invisible cosmic energy (chanitanya mayi shiva) by a process called dhyana, aweakening of kundalini (serepent power).
I do love yogis, llamas, they become channel or tunnel of cosmic energy and transfer it back to nature After some years they become 100% purest form of cosmic energy due to meditation. They become channels of pure energy. As I said earlier, this channel gets dissolved in cosmic energy and only energy remains.
I do respect yogis, buddhists and llamas, by heart and mind.  I have been interacting with them from past 3 years.
I feel pleasant and secure when I interact with them and always want to be with them lifelong, “

Dharma: An authoritarian way to create boundaries

Seek knowledge. Be it Buddhism, Christianity, Islam, Sikhism, Hebrew or Hinduism,
don’t hate them for what they are, because we don’t really know what they
Forget the people who represent them verbally or textually. When people start re-presenting
a religion, they corrupt it. Religions do not need to be understood. There is nothing to understand.
If a man was designed to be content with what he had, he would be content with one religion
To the core they all (religions as we know today) create boundaries, they promote
separation, calling it a search for ‘something’ that is not given by the
So what is that something and how it should be searched or achieved, by whatever means (prayers, devotion, non action, zen, knowledge, intuition, yoga and all that).
Before we address the question of what is that something. We need to understand what is meant by ‘existing’. What exists and what does not?
In the end the only religion is knowing our self. Any and all religions are powerful tools for self discovery. Any other definition of religion is just plain escapism, blatant denial of the truth. A religion can be shed off, adopted and used.
All religions are fighting the predominant boundaries which have been suffocating the world,
annexing and expanding under the pretext of religion. It is inevitable, wars are inevitable. This is a bigger system plan. The system of selfs.
Diverse selfs, diverging as long as the universe and creation diverges, galaxies,
universes, men, ants, plants, planets all being spewed and spawned. Which is why
diversity will remain, wars from cellular level to universal level will happen. In Hinduism, we believe that creation itself was born out of conflict, or ‘dvandva’ or dualism.
It is a profound concept that merits years of debate or understood instantly if one wishes to.
But what is more fascinating is the idea that dualism was born out of non-dualism and shall merge into non-dualism. When we connect to the current driving all this, we are indifferent.
